About RangVault

RangVault is an independent, free room and paint planning project for Indian homes. It was built to help people compare colours, understand measurements and discuss a clearer plan with a painter or supplier before spending money. There is no sign-in and no product catalogue to buy from here.

How estimates work

The paint calculator uses the room dimensions you enter. It calculates wall area, subtracts doors and windows, multiplies by the number of coats, then divides by your chosen product coverage. It adds 10% for planning and rounds to whole litres. Other tools apply similarly visible formulas to flooring boxes, furniture footprint, ambient light and a budget based on your own quotes.

These are starting figures. A painter, supplier or product technical sheet should confirm actual coverage, preparation, labour and price. The photo previews are sample rooms, and digital HEX colours are not manufacturer shade codes.

RangVault does not claim to represent a paint manufacturer, designer or contractor. For questions, visit the contact page.
